Refinish Hardwood Floor plus Carpet & Paint
Above we have begun prepping the walls. We also sanded the hardwood floors bare for the new application. Then, the carpet in the adjacent room will be pulled up as well as the padding underneath. Then, new padding will be installed.
Next, the floor is stained to give it a fresh new look. Depending on your preference you can add a second coat, after it has dried, to make it darker. Afterward, when everything is completely dry, we add a coat of polyurethane to seal the deal. Finally, we install the thresholds or transitions which were stained and sealed separately.
As you can probably tell, I was late in taking the after photos. The clients had already put back all their furniture by the time I said “cheese”. I apologize and will update after the next refinish job.
