Wall Removal and Porcelain Tile Installation

Here we prep for a wall removal and then demo it out. And then we also install porcelain tile after removing the old carpet flooring.

Here we have the wall before the removal.

First we prep the area where we will be removing wall.

Then we remove the wall. After the demolition we discovered that there is another layer of tile beneath the surface layer.

Wall is open. And refinishing has begun. Next we remove the carpet.

Here we have the upstairs with the original flooring which we removed and then refinished with new carpet and porcelain tile flooring.

We carefully remove the carpet and roll it up in 4 foot sections for easy disposal.

Now we are getting ready to lay the porcelain tile.

After a while we are halfway through with the job.

Just when things are flowing smoothly we run into a small issue. The sub-flooring is uneven around the edges. So we add underlayment as necessary to make a smooth level surface on which to lay the new tile.

We have finished laying the Snap Stone porcelain tile in the hallway and living room. It is all ready for grout.

Finally we have finished the job. The porcelain tile has been installed and grouted.
