Here we are installing another pressure-treated wood privacy fence. But before we can do anything we must remove and dispose of a pre-existing chain-link fence.
Afterwards, we can begin making the holes for our posts and footings spacing them at eight feet exact intervals.
We run string-lines from our end-posts and set all the line posts in a perfectly straight line. Then we attach our horizontal members from post to post.
“The name is true! Honest people. Quality work. I highly recommend!”

It is recommended to purchase the lumber several weeks in advance and to set it out to dry out of direct sunlight. When doing so, allow for air to circulate around all lumber member surfaces. This practice helps to minimize warping of the wood after it is installed.
After the horizontal members are up we can begin to attach the pickets using exterior-grade deck screws. Normally, pickets are installed from the exterior side of the fence. But, on one side of this yard we can not do it from the exterior side due to a neighboring fence and bushes obstructing. So, we install the pickets from inside the yard on that particular section of wood privacy fence.
And finally, we install a double gate to allow vehicles access to the garage. Rubber wheels at the bottom of gates help to support the weight without marking up the concrete.
